Rev. Jonathan Gallo grew up in Toronto, in one of the cities most multicultural neighborhoods. Not only was he exposed to a variety of beliefs and cultures from an early age, but he learned what it meant to work out his own faith at the same time. From early on, he would go with his dad, who was involved in discipling new believers and teaching in home prayer meetings across the city.
While attending the University of Toronto, Jonathan reconfirmed his early faith and felt the call to full-time ministry. He transferred and graduated from Elim Bible Institute & College in Lima, New York. After serving in various internship positions, Jonathan and his wife Gina planted a church in Toronto. After merging the church, he transitioned to another church in the city as the Executive Pastor.
From 2013-2021, Jonathan and his family moved to Niagara and began serving at Central Community Church. After starting Community Crew, a community non-profit, He served as the Executive Pastor over Ministry and helped lead a greater emphasis on disciple-making and groups. In 2019, Central had over 1900 people involved in groups in some way.
While Jonathan has also been involved in starting different businesses’ in his spare time, his passion has always been focused on helping churches establish and grow their focus on discipleship. He is often called on to help churches establish their ministry playbook and increase their discipleship capacity.
